Because destroying someone's dantian is equivalent to a "Coup de grace" type of move in D&D. No one would let you do it. The only way to do this in game is to attack a completely helpless victim. So, the foe has to have already been defeated ...or the attacker is many realms higher than the victim. In the first case you have to have already defeated them in order to do the action of destroying one's cultivation base...in the 2nd case it doesn't matter because the attacker is many times more powerful than the defender.

That is why the "destroy dantian" move is not part of any martial art as an "ultimate move" - it is the equivalent to holding someone in restraints before cutting their throat.
